She requires lots of exercise and will walk continually from room to room or backwards and forwards within the room, if she doesn't get it! What's more, her puppies will have exactly the same characteristics and so if you would like one of her babies, she demands that you must be prepared to spend lots of time and energy with them.
The Weimaraner can be a very difficult dog and should not be left alone for long periods. It is very intelligent and enjoys out-thinking you. It gets pleasure out of your frustration when the bl***y dog won't do what you want it to. You have to be clever and think about what you are doing and how you are doing it. Try to look at things from your dogs point of view and you must abandon domination and dictatorship in favour of persuasion and praise. This isn't something which can be achieved quickly, but time and effort spent training your dog whilst it is a puppy, will be repaid tenfold when your dog is an adult.
